8th Annual Mendigorría Music Festival
July 29th - August 9th, 2011
The Mendigorría International Music Festival celebrates yet another year and a new edition. For the eighth consecutive year, the historic towns of Mendigorría and Puente la Reina will be the setting of a vast array of concerts.
Distinguished artists and maestros of music will be coming together in a particularly momentous musical festival this year to celebrate the bicentennial of the great Hungarian composer Franz Liszt´s birth.
From July 30th to August 9th, Master classes for piano students with an intermediate and advanced level will be taking place as well. These courses will be given by the maestros Aida Gavrilova, Adi Rosenkranz and Alberto Urroz.
