For 2011, The Mendigorría International Music Festival has organized a piano course for students with an intermediate and advanced level.

Enrollment: Deadline is June 30th. Upon receipt of application, all applicants will be notified of admission by either email or phone within approximately seven days.

Timetable/Schedule:

On July 30th, the students will be welcome after 4 p.m. at the Orbara Etxea rural cottage, see: www.orbaraetxea.com.

The closing ceremony will take place on August 9th with a concert given by outstanding students at 8:30 p.m. Participants must depart before 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10th.

Classes will be given in the morning (scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) and in the afternoon (from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.); classes will only be held in the morning on Saturday. If the organization deems it necessary, this schedule could be extended into Sunday. The schedule for piano classes will be organized with various professors the first day of the course. Classes scheduled in the afternoon may be substituted for Master classes given by a professor to a particular group of students.

The organization may choose the most distinguished students to perform in future concerts that the festival may organize during the upcoming 2011-12 academic year in Madrid and Navarra.
