Aida Gavrilova

Born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, she began her professional training as a pianist in Tuzla. Having won the national Youth Competition, was subsequently awarded a scholarship to study at the Moscow Conservatoire with B. A. Romanov, B. B. Bechteryev and the late Y. E. Milstein.

During her time at the Conservatoire, Aida gave numerous recitals in her native country and the former Soviet Union, as well as broadcasts on Yugoslavian radio and TV.

She moved to London in 1984, where she continued her studies with James Gibb and was recipient of the prestigious Myra Hess Award. During her stay in London, Aida became an established soloist and chamber musician, performing both in the UK and abroad (France, Austria, Spain, Norway), making appearances at venues which include The Royal Academy of Music, Queen Elizabeth Hall and Holliwell Room in Oxford.

Invited to teach at the Guildhall School after graduation, she also worked at Trinity College of Music and Colchester Institute.

Aida appeared as a soloist with Colchester Symphony Orchestra and Sarajevo Philarmonic. She recorded piano works by British composer Alan Langford-CD released in 2000.

Since her arrival in Spain, she has performed in Auditorio de Lleida and Auditorio de Zaragoza.

Catherine Trumpf-García

Born in Luxembourg, she studied cello in her native country with André Navau and later, in Madrid with Pedro Corostola. At eleven years old, she was featured soloist with the L. R. T. Orchestra.

She was granted to study at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid. She was selected to play with the extraodinary Stradivarius collection of the Madrid Royal Palace and with the Comédie de Génève. She participated in masterclasses with Daniil Shafran, Alexander Kniazew, Lluis Claret, Bernard Greenhouse, Paris Enesco Quartet and Fabrice Pierre.

She studied conducting with her father Francisco García Nieto and has given recitals around Europe in such halls as Auditorio Nacional and Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid. She has been soloist with several orchestras and has recorded with The London Philarmonia Orchestra.

She is a cello professor at the Amaniel Conservatory in Madrid where she has also conducted the String Orchestra.

Pedro León

One of the best Spanish violinist, Pedro León won the First Prize in Violin and Chamber Music at the Madrid Royal Conservatory as a student of Luis Antón. Then, he continued his studies with Sandor Vegh and Pina Carmirelli. He won top prizes at the Gyenes, María Canals and French Institute Competitions. He has played as a soloist throughout Europe, USA,  South America, Africa, Japan where he gave masterclasses in Hyroshima University and China, where he was the first Spanish violinist invited to play at the Beijing Nacional Theatre. Pedro León has been an eminent violin profesor at the Madrid Royal Conservatory.

Pedro León has played with orchestras from England, France, Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Switzerland, Israel and China. He has been invited by prestigious festivals such as Granada, Barcelona, Santander, Gulbenkian (Lisbon) and Cervantino (Mexico). Has been conducted by Arglebe,  Baldi, Pereira, Rowiki, Schumacher, Riklis, Cassuto, Segal, Bahuer, Rossi, Simón, Maga, Anne Manson, Rahbari, Traub, Riazuelo, Tardue, Han Zongile and many Spanish conductors.

Pedro León has a wide repertoire , some of wich he has recorded for RCA, Hispavox, RTVE, Registro and Ensayo labels. He has premiered works by eminent Spanish composers, some of then dedicated to him such as Groba´s violin concerto, recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra. He has been concertmeister of the Madrid Symphny, Gulbenkian and Spanish National Orchestras and for more than 20 years of the OSRTVE. Pedro León has been jury in such prestigious violin competitions as Canals (Barcelona), Viña del Mar (Chile), Marsala and Fermo (Italy), Geneve (Switzerland) and Sarasate (Pamplona).

Adi Rosenkranz

Born in Poland, as a child immigrated to Israel. His musical studies includes The Givatayim Conservatory at Dina Turgeman's class, followed by a Bachelor and a Master of Music at the Tel-Aviv Academy of Music, where he finally graduated with an Artist Diploma magna cum laude at Pnina Salzman's class.

As a soloist, he has performed all over Israel. His international engagements include solo recitals, chamber music and solo concerts with orchestras in Romania, Hungary, Ireland, Austria, Spain, Italy and South Africa. He was also invited in all of these places to give both piano and chamber music master classes.

Since 1981 he is a faculty member of the Tel-Aviv Academy of Music, teaching piano, chamber music and pedagogy of piano playing. He also serves as the general academic advisor there.

Adi Rosenkranz has been a jury member in the majority of national piano competitions in Israel, including Tel Aviv´s Rubinstein Piano Competition. Recently he was appointed as the president of the Chopin Society and the Chopin competition in Israel.

Alberto Urroz

Born in Pamplona, he graduated with honors from the Real Conservatorio de Música in Madrid where he studied with Joaquín Soriano. He then moved to Israel to study at the Tel-Aviv University with Pnina Salzman, and subsequently, on a Navarra state scholarship, to New York, where he became a student of Oxana Yablonskaya.

He has also been a student of Solomon Mikowsky and Donn-Alexander Feder at Manhattan School of Music. Other teachers include György Sandor, Fanny Waterman, Ana María Trenchi and Ena Bronstein. He was also awarded scholarships from Jeunesses Musicales and the University of Hartford (Connecticut).

Alberto Urroz has performed throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States in such renown halls as Carnegie Hall in New York and Sejong Center in Seoul.

Since his first performance with the Navarra Symphonic Orchestra at the Gayarre Theatre in Pamplona in 1999, Urroz has been invited by prestigious cultural institutions in Spain and abroad, such as the Peralada and Santander International Festivals, The City University of New York, Las Canals Festival (France), Italian Institute of Culture and the German Embassy.

Since 2004, Urroz is Founder and Artistic Director of the Mendigorria International Music Festival.
